What you’ll do
Your marketplace insights and patient focus will shape and direct strategic marketing plans for the product lifecycle, ensure execution of the brand plan for long-term brand success and develop clear country value propositions for patients and healthcare professions.
As an Business Manager of GU Cancers, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. You will be the brand owner for planning and executing the external strategic plan with key customers for our GU Cancer products, lead a team of sales & marketing to achieve our business target. This position will report directly into the Franchise Head of Breast, GYN & GU Cancers Franchise and will work in close partnership with cross functional partners including medical, Commercial Excellence and other functions in order to ensure we has a strong market presence.
Your job responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Design and execute product strategies to ensure strong market presence of your responsible products
- Lead a sales team, sales manager and brand manager, provides strong sales & marketing leadership to ensure the achievement of product P&L goals
- Build therapy area strategy based on strong science and market insight to deliver sustainable growth and brand market share.
- Identify, develop and mobilize key opinion leader to ensure optimization of advocacy for therapy area/ responsible products
- Collaborate closely with other functions to achieve objectives of AZ products including sales target and market shares
- Demonstrate high level of product knowledge and therapy knowledge under responsibility
- Monitor performance and control A&P budget
- Localizes digital content as needed
Essential for the role
- University graduate in any discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industries, with 3+ solid years in Oncology Brand Management experience is an advantage
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated, meticulous, able to work under pressure
- Strong collaboration working with a wide variety of key stakeholders
