Main Duties:

• Build high quality, robust and scalable customer-facing web, and mobile applications.
• Assist the collection, analysis, and design of systems.
• Work closely with teammates to develop, support and rollout application systems.
• Document the workflows, operations, and technical details of systems.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and practices in web development.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
• Work under an IT Squad of 5 (located in Tai Wai) to participate in different Retail business related projects.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines;
• 1-2 yearsof experience in software development, with focus on modern web frontend and/or mobile app development
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Web API is essential.
• Experience in frontend testing automation.
• Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:
  - React Native and NodeJS
  - RESTful API
  - Relational database theory and technology (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
  - .NET development with C#
  - container-based development and deployment with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
  - computing cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Able to work under pressure and deliver on schedule.
• Self-motivated and keen on learning;
• Strong team player, communicator, disciplinary and punctual;
