Job Summary:
The Product Information Manager is responsible for the accuracy and organization of all product master files within the retail organization. This role ensures that product information is up-to-date, consistent, and aligns with company standards and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update product master files to ensure accuracy of product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and supplier information.
- Collaborate with buyers, retail operations, logistics, and finance departments to synchronize product data across all systems and platforms.
- Develop and implement data management policies and procedures to improve data quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of product information to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Train and support team members on data entry and maintenance best practices.
- Analyze market trends to recommend updates to product information that will enhance customer experience and sales performance.
- Manage cross-functional projects related to product launches, data migration, and system integrations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data management or a related role within a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of retail operations and inventory management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
