Job Description

We expose global environmental problems and force positive changes through research, lobbying and non-violent direct action. We are now calling on brave and inspiring individuals to join us.

 

Greenpeace East Asia is recruiting a Campaigner to develop, plan, implement and coordinate creative campaigns, including innovative use of online tools and strategies, to drive sustainable development and create positive change in Hong Kong.


We are looking for qualified applicants to take a leading role in Greenpeace's campaigns. 



Core duties will include:

  • Providing campaign expertise with respect to a specialized campaign issue. Stay abreast of current and emerging developments related to the campaign issue.
  • Developing and implementing effective and integrated campaign plans, strategies and tactics related to the overall vision and goals of Greenpeace. Lead project teams to deliver high-quality project outputs in line with the campaign plans.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant business associations, other campaign organization, and government/inter-governmental bodies
  • Answering media inquiries as a campaign spokesperson

 



Requirements:

  • 1 year of related experience is preferred , fresh graduate will be considered 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, written Chinese and Cantonese
  • Strong strategic, research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and to meet tight deadlines, including a flexible mindset regarding working hours;
  • Commitment to, and demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team;
  • Commitment to the mission, principles and values of Greenpeace.

 

Fringe benefits:

  • 15 days of Annual Leave (increase of one day of annual leave each year starting from the third year of employment, with a maximum limit of 20 days)
