Our client is a MNC manufacturing & trading company. They're hiring an Assistant Merchandising Manager for their merchandising projects.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for local suppliers and effectively communicate relevant information to stakeholders in EU
• Manage and nurture relationships with local suppliers
• Take charge of project management for new product development, ensuring timely launch, cost-effectiveness, and quality
• Provide support to the purchasing team in negotiations, payment terms discussions, and tender management, facilitating supplier selection
• Collaborate with various internal teams including procurement, logistics, quality, industrialization, marketing, and R&D to accomplish goals

Requirements:

• Degree in related disciplines
• 8 years' experience in merchandising/purchasing
• Knowledge in plastic injection, metal, electronics & assembly is a plus
• Category experience in home appliance (white goods) & electronic products is highly preferred
• Experience managing EU stakeholders is desired
• Good command of English & Chinese (both Mandarin & Cantonese)
