Tinkerer is a creative design and education company that focuses on offering innovative and engaging assembly/craft products for children between 3-12 years old to explore and learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. Through our eCommerce platform, we offer a subscription service that is marketed directly to consumers in a B2C model. In the development team, we have scientists, engineers and artists that constantly brainstorm and innovate together to bring out the best learning and making experiences for kids.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a driven digital marketing manager to join our team. Tinkerer is a young and creative brand with global development potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the marketing campaign for our roll out in the UK and Europe.
Key responsibilities:
- Apply analytical marketing techniques, improve SEO and refine and redevelop marketing strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness
- Build relationships with influencers, media and potential parties to enhance brand growth opportunities, including awareness building, lead generation and partnership liaison
- Explore and evaluate new marketing channels (both online & offline) suitable for our services and market segments, and proactively bring in new ideas and update market trend
- Collaborate with colleagues in content production and social media to acheive a co-ordinated marketing approach.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably with e-commerce and extensive digital marketing experience, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Deep understanding of Western markets: Extensive knowledge of the cultural landscape of Western markets with experience to create marketing strategies tailored to these audiences.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficient in managing social media platforms, SEO, SEM, and online ad campaigns. Experience with analytics tools to measure and report on campaign performance.
- Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to craft compelling brand stories and design innovative campaigns that resonate with our target audience, driving brand awareness and engagement.
- Independent working ability: Candidate should be experienced in leading projects independently, proactively generating ideas and directions to achieve marketing objectives with good communication and organisational skills.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English & Chinese is required to effectively engage with our target markets and collaborate with various colleagues.
