Job Description

OPERATIONS CONTROL CENTRE MANAGER

You are expected to adopt a hands-on approach and play a key role in Operations Control Centre (OCC) to manage the day-to-day operations and functions in Flight Coordination and Flight Dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Oversee Operations Control Centre (OCC) operations
  • Ensure the quality and timely execution of operational support from OCC and Flight Dispatch to various parties within the Flight Operations Department
  • Responsible for Flight Tracking and Flight Watch
  • Develop and implement professional training for the OCC team
  • Responsible for Flight Planning services including OFP production
  • Responsible for adequate manpower within Operations Control Centre
  • Monitor the On-Time-Performance and recommend improvement measures to achieve the Company objectives
  • Responsible for development and implementation of operational procedure for Operations Control Centre

Requirement:
 

  • Degree holder in Aviation Management or equivalent discipline 
  • 8-10 years’ airlines experience of Operations Control Centre in Flight Operations Managerial and coaching skills and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of industrial regulations, CAD360 rules, CAD371 rules and disruption management
  • Knowledge of Flight Planning System, Flight Tracking System, and aircraft communication
  • A professional Flight Dispatch training is an advantage
  • Proficient in oral and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and word processing
  • Willingness to perform shift duties include weekends, public holidays and overnight
  • Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • A team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
