We’re now looking for a talented Communications Manager to join our team.
Open to candidates from both the brand and agency sectors, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to orchestrate PR in-house, working closely with high-performing Marketing & Communications colleagues on executing marketing solutions and 360-degree campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Group PR Strategy
Plan and deliver effective communications at the Group level, with activities including active pitching for thought leadership opportunities, media interviews, press events, and awards - Group PR Calendar
Take ownership of the PR calendar at the Group and Outlet level and execute with correct timing and tactics - International & Local Media Engagement
Create and deliver on strategy for international and local media engagement in business, lifestyle, design; and trade journals for hospitality, human resources and other relevant verticals. Deliver on coverage KPI. - Press Releases
Write engaging, informative and actionable press releases - Communication Materials
Write, develop and edit communication materials including awards pitches, fact sheets and other literature - Media Hosting & Outreach
Active media and influencers (KOLs & KOCs) outreach in building and maintaining a robust hosting pipeline for all restaurants, facilitating communications at every level of organisation. Deliver on hosting KPI to help hit coverage KPI, in tandem with Press Office activities - Events
Participate in producing events - Media Library Creation and Maintenance
Work closely with General Managers and Chefs in building communications assets to effectively execute campaigns - Media and Social Listening
Handle inbound media inquiries, evaluate opportunities, and monitor public and media opinion. Deploy crisis management as and when required. - Third Party Content
Ensure accuracy of content on third party websites, including directories, chambers, aggregators, and booking platforms - Reports & Administration
Produce monthly reports and activity forecast, internal POs and other administrative tasks - Collaboration & Teamwork
Work with the Marketing & Communications team, and individual restaurant teams, in crafting marketing solutions, including overall campaign planning and execution - Vendor Management
Manage vendors and suppliers
Requirements
- University degree, preferably with a major in communications, journalism, humanities, or related disciplines
- 6-8 years of solid communications and media relations experience in F&B, hospitality, travel, retail, or other, related consumer industries
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
- Strong communication, writing, and editing skills
- Multi-tasking under tight timelines, good at problem-solving and attentive to details, resourceful
- Independent, self-motivated and outgoing
- Strong team mindset
