This prestigious telecom company requires a Senior System Specialist with expertise in IT Infrastructure to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong. Your new role

• Responsible for the overall project system enhancement covering the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including systems analysis and design, system development and testing, implementation, maintenance, and support etc.
• Responsible for the overall support and maintenance of the various tiers of server farms/clusters, storage systems, as well as application security
• Support for application / data migration of existing applications to the Public and Private Cloud
• Organise project schedule and resources with customers, engineers, vendors and third parties
• Assist Project Manager to provide System Support and Maintenance on the system architecture and infrastructure.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• Valid certification of either CISSP, CISA, VCP 6.5-DCV, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin
• Minimum 8 years of IT work experience, with at least 3 years supervisory level
• Practical knowledge in system design and implementation of cloud projects as well as familiar VMware, Linux, and Storage
• People management experience is a must.
• Fluency in both English and Cantonese/Chinese is a must.
• Candidates with project experience with the government would be preferred.
