Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the signalling and telecommunication systems for business hub in Beijing
• Ensure the reliability and safety performance of the signalling and telecommunication systems through incidents investigation, improvement action and regular hazard review
• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems by conducting asset condition review, investigating various engineering and innovative technologies as well as sourcing proposals
• Upkeep the technical competence of the maintenance team by conducting regular technical briefings, training and mentoring schemes

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• A minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience, of which 4 years should be at managerial level
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution
• Solid professional knowledge of signal and telecommunications discipline with proven experience in maintenance management in railway industry 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
• Required to station in Beijing
