Senior Accountant

We are currently assisting our client, a property developer, in their search for a Senior Accountant. the Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining robust internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities for accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations for various accounts.
• Lead in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable and cash flow projections.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Perform other Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification in HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years working experience, with at least 2 years at a Big 4 or 2nd tier audit firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of HKFRS and consolidation experience.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in implementing process improvements and system initiatives.
