Job Description

The University now invites application for the following position:
Executive Officer – Campus Development and Management Office (Ref: EO (CDMO) 2024-05-31)
Responsibilities:
- provide clerical and administration support to the Facility Management (FM) team;
- perform daily FM operations including but not limited to handle enquiries, venue booking, timetabling, event support, access card & key control, office equipment, inventory control, and maintain updated records for compilation of relevant reports;
- supervise and review subordinates’ work (including payment verification) to ensure their performance complied with the university’s standards;
- oversee the security and housekeeping team (both in-house and outsourced staff) in order to provide quality FM services in the campus
- prepare emails, notices, newsletters, posters, reports and proposals;
- prepare quotations and tenders for service contracts;
- liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties in various issues and initiatives;
- act as the duty officer in dealing with adverse weather conditions and other emergency situations; and
- provide secretarial services to various committees, working groups and meetings.
Applicants should:
- possess a recognised bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in facility/property management;
- have at least 4 years of relevant working experience;
- be proficient in computer literacy;
- have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- be a good team player with effective interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills;
- be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, and attentive to details; and
- be able to handle multiple tasks independently and deliver quality outputs under pressure and tight deadlines.
