Senior Campus Sustainability Officer (Ref. 240605022-IE)

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) assist in implementing programmes to achieve the strategic targets on campus sustainability performance, such as key performance indicators in focused areas as well as monitor and report the progress by soliciting and analysing performance data;

(b) organise and lead campus sustainability programmes, campaigns and events, as well as implement initiatives and projects to engage stakeholders of the University to nurture green living culture;

(c) assist in collaborating with academic staff in the University and applying the research outputs on campus to achieve the campus sustainability targets and developing a sustainable campus;

(d) provide administrative support to reports compilation, internal and external audits as well as tendering and procurement matters; and

(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Event Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computing or a related discipline;

(b) have at least five years of relevant work experience, preferably with substantial experience in managing green / sustainability campaigns and programmes as well as stakeholder engagement;

(c) be self-motivated with creative thinking and detail minded;

(d) be a good team player, energetic, agile and passionate;

(e) have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

(f) have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be open-minded and sensible in dealing with different stakeholders; and

(g) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua.

Preference will be given to those who have experience in mobile Apps UI and UX enhancement, and are proficient in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign application.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
