Job Description

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As the Assistant Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to manage the financial operation and controlling process, ensuring compliance with Company policies and IFRS standards. You will also be responsible for identifying, defining and driving process improvement projects in view to the rapidly changing business environment.
- Manage the timely financial closing process and ensure compliance with IFRS & Group guidelines
- Liaise and advise Maisons and support functions on the appropriate accounting treatment of transactions & business drivers
- Handle flows of goods, inventory management accounting and lease accounting
- Process G/L and A/P transactions in accordance with the established processes and policies
- Responsible for other reporting requirements, both internal & external
- Support the statutory audit & tax compilation and preparation of annual financial statements
- Drive process improvement projects in line with the business needs and changing context
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- You are a qualified accountant and attained bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or equivalent
- You have a strong track record in the field of accounting. You will gain advantage if you have experienced in big4 audit/ retail industry
- You have solid understanding of finance process and financials policies and controls, including IFRS
- You are proficient in MS Office and SAP with process improvement experience
- You are strong in analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. You are also self-motivated, proactive and action-oriented, attention to detail
