Responsibilities:

• Monitors building energy consumption and electricity costs, analyse consumption trends, identify areas for enhancing energy performance of building services systems, analyse reasons for usage variance and carry out bill validation
• Prepares annual energy saving plan, prepare corresponding CAPEX budgets and conduct cost benefit analysis for seeking management approval
• Prepares utilities budget and support on other budgets preparation
  Evaluate the energy performance of facilities and study to establish necessary KPIs for continuous monitoring
• Input of technical requirements in various project designs, check and comment the consultant / contractor’s submission for compliance of Building Energy Codes and other green certification requirements
• Researches and introduces appropriate energy saving technologies and green initiatives for application
• Works with other stakeholders to drive the sustainability works from the Corporate and other departments
• Manages BMS monitoring and controls, energy dashboards, metering systems and other softwares for monitoring operating efficiency of facilities
• Manages consultants; supervise building services contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields; and accredited as a member of relevant professional organisation
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in devising and implementing energy saving measures with solid experience in implementing technical analysis and energy saving in chilled water system and retro-commissioning / retrofitting of air-conditioning systems
• Experience in coordinating with BMS vendor to modify BMS graphics and controls to achieve the energy saving is highly preferable
• Demonstration of experience in applying or/and checking submissions against the latest Building Energy Codes
• Experience on dealing with green building certification including LEED and BEAM is preferred
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good communication and people management skills
• Multi-tasking, analytical mind and responsive
• Willing to perform special duties as assigned by management
