Major duties:

• Perform general purchasing jobs under the supervision of immediate supervisor;
• Sourcing materials & vendors, following up purchase orders;
• Handle cargoes clearance of imported / exported shipments of indirect materials purchased;
• Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers / contractors under the supervision of supervisors;
• Implement purchasing procedures and instruction to meet ISO and OHSAS standard; and
• Assist the supervisor in carrying out Purchasing functions as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder in relevant discipline or equivalent;
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in which 1 year in Purchasing field;
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry is preferred;
• Good communication and negotiation skills;
• Proficiency in MS office applications;
• Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• Suitable candidates with more applicable experience and ability may be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer.
