Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
• Implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position
• Mange funding requirements, including liaising with financial institutions
• Prepare financial statements and provide analytical insights to management
• Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning
• Accounting and Compliance:
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets
• Budgeting and Cost Management:
• Collaborate on annual budgeting and provide cost optimization recommendations
• Treasury and Cash Flow Management:
• Manage cash flow, negotiate financing terms, and optimize working capital
• Inventory and Stock Management:
• Collaborate on inventory control and optimization
• Oversee and manage the NAV (Navision) stock take process
• Risk Management and Internal Controls:
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Team Management and Mentoring:
• Provide leadership, training, and performance management to the accounting team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting skills
• Proficient in financial software and data analysis tools, including experience with NAV (Navision) systems
• Knowledge of inventory management processes is desirable
• Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail or manufacturing sectors
