Duties

• Perform organic synthesis, purification including flash column chromatography and characterization using various techniques such as TLC, FTIR, NMR, PXRD, SEM;
• Fabricate various electrochemical devices for characterization and battery testing;
• Collaborate with team to develop of scalable process for the advanced materials for next-generation lithium batteries;
• Data collection, results analysis of experiments and report preparation;
• Participate in all aspects of the development of electronic materials and prototype fabrication; and
• Performing other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields. Fresh graduates will also be considered;
• Hands-on experience in synthesizing organic/inorganic materials through coursework and final year project/thesis;
• Proficiency in general material characterization techniques like TLC, FTIR, and NMR;
• Strong time management skills;
• Positive "can do" attitude;
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure; and
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, articulate report writing and presentation skills, as well as abilities in literature/patent search.

Salary and Benefit:
