Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the Diversity Hub. This role involves strategic planning, program development, team leadership, and community outreach to ensure the successful implementation of our initiatives aimed at supporting EM youths.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  1.  Program Management:
  • Develop, implement, and oversee programs and activities that support the development and upward mobility of EM youths.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure programs align with the mission and goals of Diversity Hub.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of staff and volunteers.

 

  1.  Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, donors and other stakeholders.
    • Represent Diversity Hub at community events, meetings, and conferences.
    • Collaborate with local organizations to enhance program reach and impact.

 

  1.  Strategic Planning:
    • Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants and sponsorships. Diversity Hub marketing & fundraising activities & proposals
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to guide the growth and development of Diversity Hub.
    • Set long-term and short-term goals, and track progress toward achieving them.
    • Stay informed about trends and best practices in youth development and community services.
  2.  Centre Management:
    • Develop and manage the hub’s budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
    • Oversee the maintenance and utilization of the centre’s facilities and resources.
    • Prepare regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and financial status.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all programs and activities.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
    • Service statistics and reports
    • Any Ad-hoc duties assigned by Executive Director/ Supervisor

 

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Community Development, Marketing or Business related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience preferable in project management, youth development, community services, fundraising..etc.
  • Proven success as a people leader in teambuilding and mentoring, etc.; and demonstrated experience in strategic oversight role of funding portfolio.
  • With proven track records in community services, organizing fundraising programs and activities.
  • NGO experience is an asset.
  • Result-driven, independent, organized and self-starting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and detail-minded.
  • Efficient, able to cope with pressure, a team player and can work with people of various levels.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • Empathetic to ethnic minorities and different cultures.
