Description

• Lead Company's finance & accounting function; supervise daily work of accounting team; complete month-end closing in a timely manner; optimise & streamline departmental work flow to assure efficiency
• Manage a sizeable team of finance professional including AR, AP, GL & treasury teams
• Business partnering with other departments to support daily operations
• Liaise with external parties including bankers and auditors
• Handle all taxation matters to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Formulate accounting policies & procedures; set internal control guidelines/policies with key stakeholders across the company
• Involved in system enhancement projects
• Support new initiatives, including ad hoc assignments
• Team and talent development

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field with recognised professional qualification
• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in which at least 5 years at managerial level
• Retail experience/ experience working in a fast pace environment is a must
• Experience working with diverse senior leaders and negotiating with external stakeholders while building trustful & effective relationships
• Detailed oriented, hands-on, strong problem-solving skill, independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure with "can-do" spirit
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and conversant Mandarin)
