Responsibilities:

• Solid experience in sourcing materials, price comparison / negotiation / planning for delivery, and ability to optimize the cost & source structure
• Act as a sourcing officer in purchasing department
• Source new suppliers and vendors and find new sourcing opportunities in different territories
• Continuously search for market knowledge and innovations through shows, exhibitions, seminars, or other channels
• Review contract terms and conditions and negotiate the best price and terms
• Assist Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations & record updating
• Provide regular reports with analysis for existing procurement activities, potential sources, products, and cost savings opportunities
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as required

 Requirements:

• Diploma in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Procurement
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Strong in problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in MS Office, Chinese word processing, and video conference tools like Zoom and MS Teams
• Good communication, self-motivated, good team player with an initiative to work in a dynamic environment and tight deadlines
• Good command of written & spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin;  
• Familiar with cost analysis knowledge is preferred
• Experience in IT procurement and knowledge on Green / Sustainable procurement
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Procurement Officer
• Immediately available is preferred
