Job Description
Job purpose:
The core purpose of this role is to perform daily accounting duties and ad-hoc tasks as described in key responsibilities as below. He or she will work closely with Assistant Finance Manager / Accounting Supervisor to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting functions in handling full set of accounts of service units;
- Manage daily accounting duties including A/P, A/R, general ledger, accounts reconciliations;
- Perform fee payments and operating expenses payment frequently;
- Responsible for inter-companies and funds transfer and staff claim reimbursement;
- Assist in donations handling to ensure the correctness and validity of donation receipts;
- Assist in the treasury functions on interest yield and liquidity;
- Assist in preparing accurate, reliable and timely financial data and reports for internal and external requirements;
- Assist in the annual statutory audit and event audit by preparing audit schedules and reports; and
- Provide ad-hoc supports to the Assistant Finance Manager / Accounting Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSE, including English and Chinese or equivalent qualification with LCCI Level 3 in Accounting or above
- University graduates with less experience may also be considered
- Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and accounting software (Epicor preferred)
- Good interpersonal, communication skills and detail oriented
- Strong commitment
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Contract Period: 2-years (renewable)
