An international clothing brand with strong presence in Asia is seeking an Accounting Officer to support APAC Finance and Accounting department.

About the role

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Finance & Operations, handle daily accounting operations, assist in financial reporting, maintain records, and ensure compliance with audits and tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Handling daily accounting operations and conducting basic account reconciliation.
• Assisting in financial reporting processes.
• Maintaining organized records, reports, and files, providing them as needed for information and audits.
• Documenting standard operating processes.
• Assisting in month-end closing activities.
• Supporting statutory audits and tax filings.
• Providing assistance in HR and office administration tasks when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in accounting support.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Preferably experience with SAP.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily responsibilities.
• Ability to find solutions to various administrative problems.
• Awareness of confidentiality and the ability to maintain it at all times.
• Candidates with no experience but the right mindset will also be considered.
