Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Manager (System Planning), the appointee will perform the following responsibilities:

• To assist in performing transformer heat run tests and power system studies, such as Load flow, fault level, etc.
• To assist in preparing documents or reports for the submission to the Government under Scheme of Control Agreement (SCA)
• To provide support on all technical matters related to transmission system planning, supply reliability performance indices and ad-hoc issues
• To prepare monthly reports for power system performance and statistics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System or related disciplines
• Experience in electrical engineering / power system work preferred
• Good knowledge of computer programming and power system application software an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
• Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicle an advantage

Working Location: Admiralty
 

Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for the position of Engineer III (System Planning).
