 What you will be doing:

• Develop, draft, and maintain comprehensive information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. 
• Conduct regular risk assessments on IT systems and business processes, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective risk management strategy. 
• Implement global security initiatives within the local business context, ensuring alignment with global security strategies and objectives. 
• Serve as the primary contact for all information security-related inquiries from stakeholders, providing timely and accurate responses. 
• Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to enhance information security awareness and ensure adherence to security practices throughout the organization. 
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of security measures and the organization'scompliance with established policies and regulatory requirements. 
• Track and assess the risk of security alerts, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to potential threats. 
• Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with relevant teams to address security breaches and mitigate impacts. 

 What we are looking for: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field. 
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in information security management, preferably within the financial or insurance industry. 
• Holder of relevant industry recognized security certification e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent is highly preferred. 
• Strong understanding of information security principles, practices, , and regulatory requirements. 
• Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead security initiatives and drive continuous improvement in security posture. 
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential.
