Job Description
Our client is fashion retailer with great exposure in HK and Macau market. They are looking for a Brand Manager to join the team.
The Job:
Business Intelligence
- Establishes sales target/ retail KPIs and monitor results against plans. Set targets for stores and motivate the team to achieve targets.
- Monitors and evaluates competitor retail operations and merchandising practices and reports their potential impact to senior management.
- Understands the retail environment and suggest sales strategies to drive the business.
- Controls costs to budget where appropriate.
- Work closely with marketing team maintain the awareness of market trends.
Sales Team Leadership
- Monitors and motivates the team and provide coaching, feedback and thorough supervision.
- Oversees store managers about their performance and ensure development plans and performance reviews are met timely.
Store Operations Policies and Procedures
- Updates store operating policies, procedures and practices.
- Provides feedback to buying team and ensure popular selling lines are replenished on time.
- Monitors stock and identify fast and slow sellers then recommend appropriate action.
- Works closely with the Visual team to ensure global standards are adhered.
- Guides the training for retail staffs.
- In charge of the process of store opening/ closure and works closely with the respective people accordingly.
Service and Productivity
- Maintains high sales service standards by providing training and coaching.
- Makes sure all managers and their teams are trained in selling techniques and product knowledge so they can create an effective and productive selling team within their store.
- Builds, maintains and develops local VIP pool aggressively.
- CRM – analyzes and suggests CRM and local marketing initiatives.
The Candidate:
- Strong Retail operations experience in a fashion brands
- At least 5 years of demonstrated success in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of retail market and customer profile.
- Ability to develop, motivate and lead a team to achieve key commercial and customer service targets.
- Proficient in sales, retail KPI, incentives, and P&L management and analysis.
- Result oriented, excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Mature, confident and high credibility.
- Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
