You will be responsible for:

• managing the transformation of the Enterprise System Integration Platform for the Authority, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining data integration solutions to enhance the Authority's system integration capabilities;
• leading the enhancement project of the platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop data integration solutions;
• designing scalable and efficient data pipelines to integrate various systems, including internal databases, third-party APIs, and external data providers, ensuring smooth data flow and synchronisation;
• managing relationships with external vendors, including coordinating project activities, monitoring deliverables, and conducting regular status meetings to ensure successful execution;
• investigating and analysing data integration processes, identifying and resolving performance issues, data inconsistencies, and system failures;
• establishing data governance practices and ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability;
• maintaining project documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, and integration workflows to enhance the efficient use of data services; and
• staying updated on emerging technologies related to data integration and cloud technologies, making recommendations for improvements and innovations.

You should:

• possess a recognised university degree or above in Computer Science, Data Engineer, Big Data Analytics, or equivalent;
• have at least 5 years of experience managing Enterprise System Integration Platforms, including integration with on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• have strong expertise in Azure cloud platform, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Integration Services
• have knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex data integration challenges.
• have experience with data security and privacy practices, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• have experience in data governance and data quality management, such as data catalog, data operating models and standardised operating procedures.
• have excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• familiarity with vendor management principles, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• possess relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer, Azure AI Engineer, AWS Cloud Data Engineer, or AWS Machine Learning Engineer are highly desirable; and
• be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
