General Description:

A Project Engineer is responsible for security equipment, cabling, audio-visual (AV) system installation, testing, commissioning and system programming according to Convergint's standards, to ensure excellent project quality and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct security equipment, cabling, AV system installation, testing, commissioning and system programming in accordance to Convergint's standards.
• Participate in project management. (for PM role)
• Assist and provide technical support to Sales and other departments.
• Carry out system trouble shooting and problem-solving.
• Conduct on-site client training.
• Develop system design, develop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in Security concept, cabling, AV systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer or related Engineering disciplines
• Minimum 3 years or above related working experience in security, cabling, Audio-visual systems, electronic or small electronic project implementation and commissioning, familiar with ELV related products.
• Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network and database

Familiar with security access control system, CCTV and alarm system products and systems is an advantage

• Wiling to work on-site
• Project management experience is an advantage
• Experience with Lenel, Gallagher and S2 systems is an advantage
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Client service oriented
• Quick learner
• With valid Security Personnel Permit (Cat D) is preferred

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior position
