Responsibilities:
 

• Oversee the entire Public Affairs and Communications (PAC) organization and operations, structure and develop framework and coordinate with different departments to deliver targets and initiatives
• Structure PAC development in achieving the Vision, Mission and Value (VMV) of the company
• Shape and direct PAC operations and deliverables to suit the company’s expectations on sustainability, public affairs and communications
• Develop and deliver effective political advocacy and communications strategies 
• Influence and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including senior politicians, policy and decision makers, partners, journalists, and activists
• Manage crisis management activities and strengthen risk awareness across the company
• Responsible for framework and plans under sustainability, external and internal communications; results on pilots, programs and initiatives under PAC; guideline and advice given to operational aspects related to sustainability
• Supervise and guide the team in terms of public affairs and communication framework and key deliverables
• Work closely with business partners and internal stakeholders in company-wide programs, initiatives, events and activities
• Plan and execute programs and activities to promote corporate reputation and branding
• Maintain good media relations and identify speaking opportunities for senior leaders to promote the company brand

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Communications/Journalism/Public Relations or related discipline
• 15+ years of work experience in corporate communication, public relations, strategy development and project management with at least 5 years experience in managing a team, regional experience is a plus
• Significant experience of dealing with complex policy issues, and a proven ability to get up to speed quickly on such issues 
• Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to reputation management and public relations challenges
• Strong political understanding and sound knowledge of the political system and policy making in the HK including Government, NGOs the policy community
• Proven experience in public relations, media relations, and crisis communications
• Knowledge and experience on corporate sustainability, industry best practices, and program development and implementation
• Demonstrable leadership and team-working skills, including ability to motivate and support others, and willingness to ‘pitch in’ at all levels of work
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Cantonese, English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
