Corporate Communications & Community Investments
Our Corporate Communications & Community Investments function is a strategic arm of the bank, dedicated to strengthening the bank’s image and influence by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Our role extends beyond communications to include meaningful contributions to our community, reflecting our dedication to social responsibility. As brand guardians, we monitor and shape public opinions of Hang Seng. Our team ensures that key bank messages are conveyed accurately and promptly, and we safeguard our strong brand as the leading domestic bank of Hong Kong. We provide strategic counsel on reputational matters, helping stakeholders to navigate the world of financial communications.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Digital Communications Manager
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital communication strategies to strengthen the Bank's brand image and promote its products and services.
- Create engaging content on various social media platforms (especially YouTube and LinkedIn) to promote the Bank's brand values, build thought leadership, and foster synergy with thought leaders across digital platforms.
- Develop innovative ideas and content that resonate with the target segment, increase awareness, and drive participation and engagement in key initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze social media platforms and campaign performance, lead market research to identify trends, and share insights with management.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on the review, compliance, and clearance procedures for published materials.
- Work with agencies to devise and launch social media campaigns and ensure high standards of deliverables in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Assist with the planning and execution of special projects.
- Share best practices within the Bank and act as a subject matter expert.
- Stay updated on the latest digital technologies and social media best practices.
- Provide administrative and procurement support to the Digital Communications Team
Requirements
- University degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing preferred.
- 7 years of experience in corporate and/or digital communications, with a preference for previous experience in social media and knowledge of banking/event management.
- Excellent communications and language skills in both English and Chinese.
- Experience in developing above and below-the-line programs, with knowledge of social media communications, customer acquisition, retention, event management, design, and/or photo and video-editing tools being a definite advantage.
- Ability to bring divergent ideas and critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to create new and valuable solutions.
- A creative and innovative communicator with excellent people, communication, and project management skills.
- A self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and agile environment, and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Great sense of ownership and a service-oriented mindset to ensure efficient and effective communications
- Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent team spirit with a strong desire to learn and achieve success.
