Role Purpose:

As part of the Group Financial Reporting team, you will play a vital role in preparation of quarterly consolidated financial results and annual budget consolidation. You will also work closely with the finance teams of business units and support the Cloud transformation of the consolidation, reporting and business units transition to Cloud solution.

A typical day in this Role: 

• Review and analyse financial results and cashflow from business units, work closely with finance team of individual business unit to enhance quality of financial reports
• Preparation of consolidation of quarterly results
• Review annual budget from business units
• Support implementation rollout of Cloud transformation
• Review statutory accounts
• Provide support to ad hoc assignment and projects

Success will depend on:

• Degree holder in Accountancy or related disciplines with professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 7 years working experience in big 4 audit firm or financial accounting in sizeable companies
• Experience in consolidation and International Financial Reporting Standards, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Mature, self-initiative and able to work independently and as a team player
• Good knowledge of computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Candidate with less experience will also be considered as Senior Accountant or Accountant
