Job Description
We are searching for a new colleague for our Hong Kong organization to take on the responsibilities of Assistant Manager, Value Management.
You will be reporting to the Value Management Manager (functional lead) for all revenue growth management initiatives relating to both on- & off-premises sales channels in the Hong Kong market. You are expected to work closely with commercial teams (i.e. Sales & Marketing) and Finance as a close and inspiring partner for business intelligence.
What you'll be doing:
- Organize large amounts of data from in/external sources.
- Embed Revenue Growth Management principles (product, price, promotion, trade terms) in the business with the use of facts, data, dashboards, and tools.
- Interpret the data with meaningful commercial sense, find insights, and make suggestions/plans to deliver the company’s sales/profit growth and cost efficiency.
- Support Manager to drive improvement in EXECUTION in all sales channels and ensure teams act on agreed plans via trackers and drumbeat reviews.
- Regular site visits to ensure in-store execution is up to the company’s standard in different aspects.
- Close collaboration with regional leaders and Asia market representatives on value management initiatives.
- Involve in other commercial projects at the market/Asia/Group level.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree holder or higher.
- Excellent data management skills, numerical sense, and commercial acumen.
- Able to develop/improve analytic tools or visuals for presentation deck with proficient MS Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI skills. Other programming knowledge is a plus.
- Adequate knowledge of P&L and accounting basics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (trilingual) as an influential change driver. Solid project management experience would be preferred.
- Ability to manage stakeholders from all backgrounds – cultures, nationality, and expertise.
- Transparent, independent, result-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Enjoy working in a young, energetic, and celebrating environment.
- 3-4 years experience in retail/FMCG/relevant industry, preferably in the area of business intelligence or sales planning.
- A former management consulting background will be a plus.
