Salary:
HK$26,173 – HK$36,570 (HGPS point 9 - 15) per month including Monthly Allowance (See Remarks)
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Perform day-to-day human resources functions in one of the following areas under established policies and procedures:
- Recruitment and Appointment
- Remuneration and Benefits
- Performance Management
- Training and Development
- Staff Relations and Communication
2.
Provide administrative and secretarial support to HR Managers.
3.
Assist in checking of payroll transactions and perform data input as required.
4.
Process HR transactions and maintain proper records and filing system..
5.
Compile statistics/data, conduct analysis and prepare management reports.
6.
Handle enquiries/feedbacks and draft correspondences.
7.
Communicate with various stakeholders and provide assistance as appropriate.
8.
Supervise junior clerical and support staff.
9.
Assist in office administration, procurement of Human Resources related items and budget monitoring, and coordinate meetings / programs / activities of the department.
10.
Support implementation of HR projects.
11.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1.
(a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B),Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR
(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
(i) Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
(ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent;
2.
3 years’ clerical experience with good knowledge of the functions and operations in one or more of the following areas.
(a) general administration
(b) filing and records keeping
(c) supplies and stores
(d) human resources
(e) finance, accounting and statistics
(f) data input and analyses
(g) typing, word processing and/or Chinese word processing
(h) telephone operation, client communication and reception service
Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1.
Knowledge of HR policies and statutory requirements related to HR operation.
2.
Hands-on experiences in PC applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and ERP-HCM system.
3.
Experience in analyzing and maintaining a high volume of data.
4.
Meticulous and attentive to details and accuracy.
5.
Ability to organize work and supervise a small team of staff.
6.
Responsible, self-motivated and Able to work independently.
7.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
8.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

- Serving staff who have completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent and have 3 years' clerical experience within HA may also be considered.
