We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic team as an Assistant Ice Rink Manager. Reporting directly to the experienced Ice Rink Manager and Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the prestigious Cityplaza Ice Palace. Your responsibilities will include organizing captivating promotional activities, managing the retail offerings, providing insightful reports to the leadership team, and developing comprehensive training programmes for our dedicated employees.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing operational policies & procedures, preparation works & staff arrangement for various activities at rink ice shows, competition, and rink rental
  • Managing skating school related operations and activities, such as coach and frontline staff supervision, system enhancement, handling ISI recreational sport, ice hockey, curling & arranging VOI core programme
  • Preparing routine reports such as income report, customer feedback, market research & provide recommendations
  • Organising skate shop promotional activities, conducting internal auditing activities for income and inventory management control
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints, and ensure the safety, cleanliness and quality of ice rink
  • Handling staff recruitment & supervision, conducting performance review and implementation of in-house training programmes, as well as preparing duty roster, job allocation and staff payroll

 

Requirements: 

  • Diploma holder preferably in Business Administration or Sports Education or Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of retail or hospitality management. Experience in supervision role is an asset.
  • Customer service oriented
  • Good project management, interpersonal, time management, presentation and leadership skills, with a strategic mindset
  • Develops and delivers communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audience
  • Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions
  • Achieves results, even under tough circumstances
  • Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Good computer skills on MS Word, Excel
  • Willing to work on shift (5 days work week; 9:30am – 6:00pm or 2:00pm – 10:30pm)
