Job Description

Uni-China (Business) Management Ltd. (“the Group”) and its subsidiaries have rooted in Hong Kong for approximately 30 years, being responsible for the operation and management of diverse businesses and adept at creating and maximizing values to the business itself and the society via revitalization projects. 

The Group is a conglomerate with around 20 brands, covering diversified business areas which ranges from fresh food, revitalization of fresh markets, supermarket, food and beverage, project management, innovative technology and CRM solutions, integrated marketing to intelligent storage service with automated robotics technology.

Summary

Build a culture of performance across the organization with oversight, continued development and implementation of our performance review and appraisal.  Lead ta team and facilitate our different staff events.

 

Key Focuses and Responsibilities 

  • Lead the execution of talent review and the succession planning process, initiate the succession planning process, able to identify high-potential employees, and develop talent pools for key positions
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies and programs to attract, develop, and retain high-potential employees.
  • Stay updated on talent management trends, and conduct innovative approaches to enhance 1 on 1 talent strategies especially in frontlines
  • Promoting employee engagement and satisfaction, fostering a harmonious working environment
  • Facilitate a wide range of staff events, including department town halls, celebrations, festive events and staff activities such as volunteer run, sports day, etc.
  • Review event budget, manage annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring balanced cost allocation across various events

 

Key Requirements and Expectations 

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ relevant working experience in human resources or organization development, preferably gained from a retail chain/service-oriented business/financial institution with sizeable company.
  • Solid experience in people development, talent management and corporate activities roles.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with flexible and adaptive mindset
  • Excellent leadership skills to coach and develop team members
  • Motivated with strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative mindset and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
