Job Description

Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all events and activities at the children’s training centre. This includes workshops for children & parents, mini competitions & shows, award presentations, celebrations, open day, seasonal & summer programs. The Event Manager works closely with marketing & centre's staff, parents, and community partners to deliver engaging and enriching experiences for the children.

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor management, staffing, and logistics within allocated budget
- Develop creative event concepts and themes to appeal to children of different ages
- Manage event registration, attendance tracking, and post-event evaluation
- Liaise with parents, teachers, and community organizations to understand their needs and preferences
- Recruit, train, and schedule event staff, including instructors, activity leaders, and support personnel
- Ensure all events comply with relevant health, safety, and child protection regulations
- Work with marketing team in promoting upcoming events through the centre's website, social media, and other marketing channels
- Continuously evaluate and improve event experiences based on feedback and industry trends.

 

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, hospitality, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in planning and executing events, preferably in an educational or children's setting
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with children, parents, and staff
- Creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and deliver seamless event experiences
- Knowledge of child development, learning, and safety best practices are advantageous 
- Proficient in using event management software, social media, and other digital tools
- Passion for providing enriching and memorable experiences for children
