Job Description
As a Financial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the financial operations of our client's business. Your ability to drive financial performance while supporting strategic decision-making will be key to your success in this role.
What you'll do:
- Lead the financial operations and reporting team, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), month-end closing, and consolidation in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Liaise with auditors for annual audit and tax service providers for reviewing tax documents such as returns, service tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing and provisions
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations
- In charge of system, finance operations & control process related projects
- Support ad-hoc tasks/projects
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Qualified accountant with minimum of 7 years of relevant experience including 3 years in a management level with a multinational corporation or sizeable organisation
- Audit experience gained from a top-tier CPA firm is an advantage
- Familiarity with Hong Kong and international accounting practices, rules and regulations, and taxation systems is preferred
- Problem-solving skills with the capability of identifying root cause and identifying mitigation plans with practical solution approaches
- A track record of driving financial performance, optimizing business outcomes, and supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Effective teamwork and communication skills while managing multiple assignments
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
