We are currently looking for an accountant to be part of our dynamic team, responsible for Account Receivables & Payables, and Internal Control for the market, to ensure quality, integrity and reliability of all financial information and reports, and to provide support to the decision-making process.  The role will also work closely with our shared service centre to ensure efficiency, quality and continuous improvement of the accounting operations. 
 

Roles & responsibilities

• Monitor AR & AP aging situation, provide recommendations and implement actions for improving AR & AP status where necessary
• Act as Subject-Matter-Expert on overall T&E reimbursement
• Monitor Inter-Company recharge
• Assist in month end closing process to ensure a timely and accurate report to HQ & Nestle
• Validate and review actual book closing and Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Maintain the financial and administrative structures (e.g. SCOA and Budget Structures) in accordance with local and Nestle Accounting Standards
• Ensure that all Nestle Accounting Standards (NAS) and Nestle Internal Balance Sheet (NIBS) rules are adhered to
• Review and update Standard operating procedure (SOP) and Standard Routine (SR)
• Ensure the internal control guidelines are understood and properly followed-up
• Help all departments monitor internal control procedures and ensure yearly follow-up
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly Inter-Company reports to Regional office/HQ
• Prepare, follow up & liaise with departments on post audit check reports
• Monthly stock counts at Boutiques / warehouse
• Review workflows to improve internal control efficiency (SOP of Boutiques, receipt and payment process, etc)
• Help commercial departments with the study and implementation of new payment solutions

What will make you successful

• University Degree or equivalent in Finance and Accounting
• Student member of HKICPA/ACCA/CPAA or other relevant professional bodies
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience preferably in MNCs within FMCG, retail or F&B industries
• Experience in managing shared service centre would be an advantage
• Mature, self-motivated, detail minded and able to work independently whilst working within a team
• Proactive, problem solver with positive mindset
• Excellent communication skills; Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
