Business Function
Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities:
Procurement governance and advisory
- Provide guidance and support to Corporate Real Estate Strategy & Administration Department (CRESA) on project and facilities management initiatives
- Develop and implement procurement protocol and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency
Procurement strategy development and optimization
- Conduct market and supplier research to develop procurement strategies that support daily operations
- Proactively review and analyze procurement needs to identify opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and internal controls
Contract and vendor management
- Develop and implement a vendor performance evaluation framework to monitor and improve supplier relationships
- On-going review and maintenance of Contract templates with Group Legal, external counsels and Group Procurement & Services Department
- Support the adoption and roll-out of regional procurement contracts by coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors
Data analytics and insights
- Drive the development of procurement data analytics to provide business insights and support informed decision-making
- Leverage data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for service level improvements and cost savings
Qualifications:
- Degree holders in Facilities Management / Property Management / Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
- 8-10 years’ relevant experience in a sizable company with over 1,000 staff
- Good knowledge of procurement for Facilities Services, Office Renovation and project works
- Possess high level of integrity, work ethics and good moral values
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A good team player and able to work independently under pressure and tight schedule
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience in Data Analytic tools, e.g., Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI will be an advantage
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate Rank
