Key responsibilities:

• Serve as RO and MIC of Finance and Accounting, in managing daily operations in compliance with SFC regulations;
• Supervise the firm's SFC regulated activities, liaise with SFC regulators and file / submit relevant SFC applications;
• Managing business operation of client onboarding and managing the deposits of client’s monies;
• Developing conventional bonds and debts operations;
• Oversight of audits and report results to the Board

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting and Finance or a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications;
• 3+ year of senior management experience at SFC Type 1 licensed firms i.e. stock brokerage;
• Current holder of SFC unconditional RO license for Type 1 regulated activity
• Clean record with the SFC with no reprimands in the past;
• Strong accounting and finance background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
• Good knowledge of debt and bond investment, and operation of Bloomberg terminal;
• Experience in operation for managing client's monies and assets and handling privatge placement and initial offerings;
• Practical understanding of ECM/DCM, middle and back-office operations and risk controls for full-scale brokerage firms;
• Smart, mature, proactive, aggressive, goal-oriented and able to work under pressure;
• Open-mind and willingness to learn new ideas;
• Strong people and relationship management, and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in both English, Chinese and Putonghua.

BIG PLUS FOR - 

• Professional credentials in accounting and finance;
• Experienced in Web3, Digital Asset and Blockchain businesses;
• Knowledge about private equity, alternative investment, FinTech, Blockchain and digital assets;
• Experienced in PE/VC funds, ETFs and/or alternative investment products;
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
