Job Description
Benoy Ltd is seeking an administrator assistant that will be responsible for assisting with operations and support to data management and backups, system analysis, and application supports. This role will also expect the individual to be a second level support to Desktop and VC support.
Responsibilities:
Technical/Operational:
- Assistance to Configure, installs, and manage data backups for applications and systems.
- Ensure that restore procedures are configured and tested.
- Leveraging the Backup Infrastructure for Operational efficiency, including data staging, recovery and hardware migration
- Carry out regular checks on the status of servers, storage, and tape libraries from a hardware and software standpoint.
Experience and has knowledge of :
- Windows servers 2008 / above and roles
- Active Directory
- MS Exchange
- Sharepoint
- Data management and reporting
- Virtual environments
Other Duties :
- Provide support and troubleshoot problems with systems, network, software and hardware
- Clerical duties, including IT stock handling, meter reports, purchasing and receiving equipment
- Handle user applications and IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, routers, servers and others)
Candidate requirements:
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Drive to succeed and desire to advance
- 3 years of experience in a IT based role
- Experience in backup management using Symantec Backup Exec.
- Technical working knowledge of Disaster Recovery concepts and best practices, including experience with Big Data volumes
- Familiarity with tier data center environments
- Experience in backup management using Symantec Backup Exec.
- Hands on experience with window server products.
Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree holder in an IT related discipline/ Industry Certifications
Further education in Computing or releated subject.

- Mandarin speaking

- Organizational Skills
