We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Product for Womenswear Soft-woven category, with location in Shenzhen China. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical development and production of this category, ensuring exceptional product quality, market competitiveness, and driving innovation that resonates with our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Devise long-term development strategies for product category. Translate market insights into actionable strategies to drive growth and maximize profitability.
• Source, evaluate and onboard new manufacturers for technical competence, quality, cost and compliance matters in China, ASEAN and South Asia countries. Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful manufacturers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to apparel factories relating to operation excellence, process improvement, technical challenge, product quality and shipment schedule.
• Establish and manage relationships with reputable suppliers (for fabrics, trims, accessories, etc.) and manufacturers to ensure consistent product quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, product improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve maximum value without compromising on quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, merchandisers, suppliers, and manufacturers, to develop innovative products that align with brand values and meet customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Business, or related field.
• Over 10 years experience in fashion & apparel manufacturing industry, and particularly well-versed with womenswear soft-woven products.
• Technical expertise in sample development, manufacturing engineering, production upgrade, pattern-making, garment construction, etc.
• Factory resources in Mainland China and Southeast Asia.
• Demonstrated experience in launching successful product lines and driving innovation.
• Exceptional project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, quality control standards, and manufacturing processes.
