The R&D team is looking for a highly motivated food scientist with a diverse background in food and nutritional science. You will be contributing at the intersection of culinary technology and automation, innovating delicious, healthy and consistently high-quality food with our systems.

 

Job Description

1. Research and develop new food products and processes based on Hestia automation systems with Chefs and Engineers.
2. Perform shelf-life testing and sensory analysis.
3. Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality regulations and guidelines.
4. Prepare and perform chemical test, microbiological test and instrumental analysis of food products.
5. Tackle problems encountered during ingredients inspection and food processing.
6. Occasional overseas travel for system implementation and development.

Key Qualifications

1. Knowledge in food production and processing
2. Self-motivated, with a proven record of successful execution.
3. Ability to identify and communicate clear project goals and project plans.
4. Ability to clearly explain technical issues.
5. Detail-minded and able to work under pressure and independently with good time management.

Education & Experience

1. BS in Food and Nutritional Science or equivalent experience/skills required.
