The opportunity
EY Financial Services (FS) Tax services provides tax advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients in the FS market ranging from some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds.

Your key responsibilities
- Work with a team of professionals in providing the US tax services to asset management clients.
- Assist in preparation of US federal/state partnership tax returns and other tax compliance related matters for hedge funds, private equity investment funds and other financial service companies.
- Assist in correspondence with the US tax authorities on clients' tax matters
- Assist in FATCA related engagements and provide regulatory updates on FATCA to clients
To qualify for the role you must have
- An undergraduate degree, preferably with an emphasis in economics, finance or law (an advanced degree in economics, law, tax or accounting is desirable)
- Professional accountancy qualification or working towards gaining one. AICPA qualification preferable
- Team player and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Fluent speaking in Mandarin will be an advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
