Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement

This industry leading consumer services organisation are looking for a Senior Manager to focus on Indirect Procurement Services to join their growing team.

Job duties:

• Responsible for establishing the Central Procurement Department to implement procurement strategies and programmes that improve the company's efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the existing procurement operating model and make suggestions.
• Execute the transition of current procurement practices, and implement the best practices for procurement on various categories.
• Manage and modify the end-to-end procurement process from tendering process.
• Negotiating with suppliers to achieve the business and contract terms, contracting process including administration and post-execution.
• Responsible for all indirect procurement activities during the whole process, from category managing, budget analysis, market research, vendor sourcing, negotiation and supplier management.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance and monitor supplier performance, including managing the supplier database and building a robust supplier network.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Business Administration or related discipline. Holder of CIPS will be an advantage.
• At least 10 years relevant experience in large-scale companies with experience of the end-to-end procurement process.
• With experience in marketing service (including brand, digital, advertising, media, PR), and Event Management procurement is a plus.
• Solid experience in using e-procurement system is required.
• Demonstrated good interpersonal skills in managing different stakeholders. Good presentation, communication and negotiations skills.
• Highly self-initiatives, problem-solving with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
