Job Description
CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
Assistant Officer (Ref. 240704001)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) manage and coordinate clerical and administrative tasks relating to contracts administration, financial planning, funding applications and cost control in the Office;
(b) support project teams and coordinate clerical and administrative procedures;
(c) work closely with a diverse team to coordinate administrative support on the preparation of tender documents and all relevant documents;
(d) support on daily operations, including but not limited to processing payments and maintaining up-to-date files and records of project documentation;
(e) supervise as well as to provide support on the preparation of incoming and outgoing correspondence;
(f) manage the data entry system, the Office’s database and filing system;
(g) coordinate the compiling and preparation of various reports and documents; and
(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree; or have a recognised certificate or diploma in accounting/ construction-related field plus not less than 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in construction-related services, educational institutions or public sector;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
be proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing, knowledge on Oracle will be an advantage; and
(d) have good communication and interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
