Job Description
OneDegree is a new generation of InsurTech that reimagines the industry with design and digital innovation. We are currently offering Pet, Fire, Critical Illness and Home Insurance and are expected to provide wider coverage to the general public in the coming year.
Want to join us and make a change? We are currently seeking an HR and Admin Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, scheduling interviews, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes. You will also assist with general office administrative tasks, such as answering phones, sorting mail, and managing calendars.

What you will be doing:
- Perform full spectrum of HR functions from recruitment, compensation and benefits performance management and employees’ engagement etc
- Handle employees’ onboarding and offboarding processes
- Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
- Implement HR policies and procedures
- Maintain and update HR related records in a timely and accurate manner
- Organize staff activities
- Provide office administration support and perform ad-hoc tasks when necessary
What we are looking for:
- Diploma holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline
- 1 year of working experience as a HR generalist role
- Fresh graduates are also welcomed
- Independent and responsible
- Attentive to details and well organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for officer positions
- Immediately available is highly preferred
