Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The job holder is responsible for formulating, executing and continuously reviewing the marketing strategy for designated fairs (physical and/or digital), with a strong focus on digital and emerging channels. He/She works closely with JV Partner, Visitor Promotion and Sales functions to ensure the marcom strategy aligns with the beauty vertical’s overall targets and objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing plans and strategies to drive sales and increase visitor attendance for our exhibitions (both digital and physical), with special attention to:
- Website: Ensure the website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions
- Social media: Develop and manage a holistic paid and organic Social Media Calendar, including content creation, advertising execution, and collaboration with agencies/partners
- Email marketing: Develop segmented content, conduct A/B testing, and implement retargeting campaigns using the ELOQUA platform
- Search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM): Manage Google Ads, display advertising, and other search-related initiatives
- Mobile apps: Work with vendors to design user-friendly mobile apps for show attendees
- Explore and leverage emerging digital channels such as TikTok and influencer marketing
- Manage digital marketing budgets and costs effectively
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, social media metrics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize return on investment (ROI) across various digital channels, in close collaboration with vendors and the Digital team
- Develop engaging and impactful digital content for social media, the website, email campaigns, and other media channels
- Provide regular reports to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, and offer insights to optimize KPIs (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversion, ROAS) across the digital marketing funnel
- Support occasional digital events such as, such as webinars and business matching sessions, to connect buyers and sellers. This includes planning, identifying speakers and partners, and working closely with buyer engagement team and sales team to deliver ticket or sponsorship sales
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in event management and digital marketing. More experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proven project management experience is a must
- Experience in social media, web maintenance, basic html coding and Google analytics will be an advantage
- Cooperative, flexible and initiative
- Able to multi-task under tight deadlines
- Eager to learn and take up new tasks
