M+ Internship Programme 2024/2025 (Summer Intake) – Digital Content (Ref: R5401) 

The M+ Internship Programme, supported by The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Hong Kong, is a unique opportunity for those who are interested in developing a career in the museum field. You will work closely with the M+ team full time for a period of one year, gaining both practical and theoretical training. This intake will take place from August 2024 to August 2025.  

The Digital Content Internship offers hands-on experience in producing curatorial content for M+’s various digital outlets such as its website, social media and digital signages. Working under the mentorship of the digital content team, they will assist in the production of content that helps M+ cultivate and engage its online audiences. 

You will be able to:

• learn about M+, its collection and programmes; 
• participate in content planning and creative brainstorming for different M+ social media outlets;   
• learn about digital content presentation and data analytics; and 
• assist in the production of English, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese content on various outlets including the M+ website, social media and digital signages. 

You need to:

• be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative region; 
• possess a recognised university degree or equivalent qualification in art, curatorial studies, design history, architecture, film studies, art education, cultural studies, museum studies, or related subjects in humanities; 
• be social media savvy; 
• have strong interest in working in the museum field; 
• have strong organisational skills and detail-oriented; 
• have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; 
• possess graphic design and multimedia production skills is preferred but not required; and 
• have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin).
