Job Description

What you'll do:

• Leading, managing, and supervising the R&D team to ensure the successful completion of projects;
• Generating innovative and practical R&D project ideas related to advanced materials and manufacturing technologies, with evaluating the industry benefits, budget requirements, and the competence of team members;
• Conducting project prospection with clients and technology partners to identify potential collaborations and project opportunities;
• Identifying and establishing partnerships with new technology partners to expand our business lines; Seeking funding support from the government and cash sponsorship from industry partners for R&D projects;
• Organising technology promotion events to identify new clients and explore opportunities for technology transfer; managing the daily operation of the technology centre and workshop to ensure smooth functioning;
• Occasionally traveling to Mainland China and overseas for project implementation and to study new technologies.

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or equivalent disciplines, with at least 5 years of solid hands-on experience in technology research and development after completing Bachelor's degree;
• Proven track record demonstrating the capabilities in R&D;
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, presentation, communication, teamwork, and marketing skills;
• Innovative thinking, maturity, self-motivation, willingness to take up challenges, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
